CO-BRANDING GUIDELINES

Integrated Brand
In this version, the cooperative logo is combined with the Touchstone Energy® logo into a single logo unit.

Endorser Brand
In this version, both the cooperative logo and the Touchstone Energy® logo appear separately and are not a single logo unit. They may appear side-by-side, or to the side or the Touchstone Energy® logo may appear below the cooperative logo.

Recommendations:
Co-branding is recommended wherever there is cooperative branding. The Touchstone Energy® logo and cooperative logo should either appear as integrated (one logo unit) or as Endorser (separately).

INTEGRATED BRAND SPACING / SIZING

This section shows you some recommended integrated co-branding applications.

The Touchstone Energy® integrated co-brand logo is designed to work in tandem with your existing logo and establishes close identification between your system and the unifying brand.

Keep in mind that adding the integrated co-brand may not always work well on clothing applications, and the endorser brand format might be more suitable. Please see the Apparel section for such instances on co-branding.

Logo and Signature Spacing: There should be some space between your co-op logo and the co-brand logo, please see the example to the right. Using the "T" from "Touchstone" is a good indicator of minimum space.

Logo Sizing: Co-brand logos should always be legible. For print and digital applications, proper, proportionate scaling is necessary to ensure that the co-brand does not become illegible. See example to the right.

ENDORSER BRAND EXAMPLES - WEBSITE

Cooperative websites is one of the more common places where endorser branding is utilized. Many co-ops place the co-brand a the bottom of their site and include boilerplate language describing the Touchstone Energy® network. This allows their co-op logo and branding to take priority at the top of their sites.

Boilerplate Example: "Touchstone Energy® Cooperative Inc. is a national network of electric cooperatives across 45 states that provides resources and leverages partnerships to help member cooperatives and their employees better engage and serve their members. By working together, Touchstone Energy cooperatives stand as a source of power and information to their 30 million member-owners every day."
